Reena Mistry is a Toronto-based illustrator and designer originating from England and India. (Her cultural identity is its own creative can of worms, so she explores it through Humble Raja.)
In 10+ years of freelancing, Reena has created illustrations for Levis, Allbirds, Honda, Casper, and most recently, Canada Post – an incredibly satisfying project, since she still loves sending things by post.
Reena enjoys paying attention to the small details that matter. Her loose yet detailed drawings focus the viewer's attention on what best captures her subject, whether it be an everyday object or a character-filled portrait. Her passion for detail stems from her education in Architecture and her ongoing mindfulness practice.
As an acting mentor of the Advertising Thesis program at OCAD University and an alumni artist of Elevate and DesignTO, Reena finds it easy to stay inspired. Her work has been featured in the Huffington Post, Globe & Mail,  and Designlines Magazine.
